Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys started as an expansion team for the 1960 season in the NFL. The Dallas Cowboys expansion was made possible when the then owners of the team purchased the fight song of the Washington Redskins and threatened to ban the band from playing the beloved song of the Redskins. The owner of the Washington Redskins was opposed to the creation of the Dallas Cowboys but had no choice when the fight song was purchased by the owners of the Dallas Cowboys football.

The current Dallas Cowboys stadium is the Texas stadium. The team used to play in the Cotton Bowl stadium from the beginning of the franchise until 1971. In 2009, the team will transfer to a new stadium in Arlington. The Dallas Cowboys logo is also called the Dallas Cowboys Star. The Cowboy’s star is a black star with a white and black border. A Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader is simply called the DCC, an acronym for Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

Looking into the Dallas Cowboys History, one can simply say that the Dallas Cowboys is one of the most successful franchises in NFL. They started the franchise without any win in the season yet it would only lead the way for better things to come. Their run in NFL has led them to appear 24 times in the playoffs and has won five Super Bowls (VI, XII, XXVII, XVIII, XXX). The Dallas Cowboys is clearly the dominant team during the 1970s and the 1990s.
