Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a member of the National Football League. Jacksonville Jaguars were created as an NFL expansion team in 1995, along with the Carolina Panthers. The Jacksonville Jaguars belong to the city of Jacksonville, Florida, with the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium as their home stadium.

The debut season of the Jacksonville Jaguars was as expected of an expansion team. The team finished with a 4-12 win-loss record and ended up last in their division. The Jaguars finished with a win-loss record of 9-7 and made an appearance in the playoffs for the first time. The Jaguars lost to the Titans, but they set a record for being the only expansion team to appear in the playoffs for four consecutive seasons.

The 2000 season would have been great for a newly created franchise. Unfortunately, the team was hampered by losses in the sidelines as their key players were injured for the rest of the season. The team finished with a 7-9 record and failed to qualify for the playoffs. After years of restructuring, the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars made the playoffs again with a convincing 12-4 record. Even with this impressive record, the team fell to the New England Patriots in the wild card round with a crushing loss of 28-3.
